Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SaaS Sales Account Executive with exceptional business acumen, grit, and a proven track record of achieving sales results. As an important member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in scaling revenue growth through strategic prospecting, partnership development, conveying differentiated value, winning full-cycle deals, and continuously developing prospect & client relationships. 

Responsibilities: 

 

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify and target potential clients through thorough market research and analysis.
    • Develop and implement effective prospecting strategies to generate qualified leads and referral partner relationships. 30–50% of your leads should be self-sourced to begin.
  2. Value-Based Selling:
    • Utilize a consultative and value-based selling approach to understand client needs and position our SaaS solutions as tailored solutions.
    • Clearly articulate the unique value proposition of our products to prospects, focusing on solving their specific challenges.
  3. Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:
    • Conduct compelling product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our SaaS offerings.
    • Adapt presentations to address the unique needs and pain points of each prospect.
  4. Relationship Building:
    • Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within target accounts.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to prospects to help them achieve their business objectives.
  5. Sales Pipeline Management:
    • Effectively manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely updates in Salesforce.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead conversion and sales closure rates.
  6. Negotiation and Closing:
    • Lead negotiation processes to secure favorable terms and agreements.
    • Close sales deals independently with C-level executives and exceed individual targets.
  7. Post-Sales Support:
    • Collaborate with the customer success and support teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and ongoing customer satisfaction.

 

Requirements: 

  • 4-5+ years of proven experience as a successful SaaS (or similar) Sales Account Executive with proven business acumen dealing with a variety of stakeholders, from technical to executive.  
  • Success with large SMB or mid-market deal cycles and complexity. 
  • Record of repeatedly exceeding sales targets. 
  • Experience selling into financial services, insurance or other regulated industries  
  • Strong utilization of (any) selling methodologies and a customer-centric approach. 
  • Exposure to a software start-up, scale up environment. 
  • Has experience with sales data analytics & technical tools such as Salesforce and Microsoft 
  • Self-motivated, problem-solver, with the strategic acumen to be the “CEO” of their results. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to work independently, manage time properly, and thrive in an evolving and a fast-paced environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or other related coursework is preferred.
