Troubleshoot issues using OData API Monitor


This article provides detailed instructions on how to use SAP Cloud for Customer OData API Monitor tool for troubleshooting issues.

OData API Monitor allows capturing full OData payload from SSI Add-In and Synchronization. Therefore, the captured data can be used for troubleshooting analysis and problem-solving.


Important

Note that by default OData API Monitor captures only failed API requests


Proceed with the following steps to troubleshoot issues using OData API Monitor:

  1. Open SAP Cloud for Customer and go to Administrator > General Settings





  1. On the General Settings page, find the System Administration section and click OData API Monitor in the list below





  1. Click Activate OData Trace to enable full OData API logging




  1. Reproduce an issue in SSI to capture the issue-related payloads in OData API Monitor

  1. Click Deactivate OData Trace to disable full OData API logging




  1. Check the payloads captured in OData API Monitor
