Recipients tab

This tab is used to manage the list of Leads/Contacts to be reached via the Sequence

On this tab you may:

Add recipients to your Sequence directly from Salesforce, from Revenue Engage People page or from an uploaded CSV file.

See how many of your recipients are on what Steps. By clicking on, for e.g. “Step 1. Day 1”, the main table of Recipients will be filtered to show just those who are currently on that Step.

Search through recipients by Name, Company, E-mails and Filter by their Salesforce owner or by current stage.

In the main table of Recipients, perform a number of actions described in our video tutorial and below in this article.

Columns in the main table of Recipients

  1. Name of a prospect, with position and department (if data available) | This column is sortable alphabetically

Icons , or stand for whether a prospect is a Lead or a Contact in Salesforce, or "R" - a prospect has been imported from a CSV file directly to Revenue Engage.

  1. Company name | This column is sortable alphabetically

  2. Next step to be taken within the Sequence for this recipient. It could be one of these:

    • No step

    • Paused for this Person - reasons why a sequence can be on pause:

⚠️ Received a reply from a prospect to one of email type of steps. Those will be on the replies tab for you to choose how to process them

⚠️ Received a reply from a prospect’s colleague. A corresponding To-do item will be on the Engagement Planner for you to choose what action to take next

⚠️ Broken merge field in your message will also put a sequence for a prospect on pause. A corresponding To-do item will be on the Engagement Planner for you to fix it either by removing Merge Field from your message, or by filling out required field directly in Salesforce

⚠️ Owner of a prospect has been changed in Salesforce. A corresponding To-do item will be on the Engagement Planner for you to perform an action so a sequence proceeds

⚠️ You can manually pause a sequence for any of your recipients using mass actions or via Sidebar

      ⚠️ Received a standalone email

⚠️ Received a meeting invite or meeting confirmation

    • Details of the next scheduled Step: step, day, type and scheduled time

  3. Action required from you on the Engagement Planner’s To-do tab so a recipient proceeds within a sequence (if any is required). Some values are clickable and once clicked you will be redirected to according item on the Engagement Planner to take an action. Note, that “Action required” will also appear in the Sidebar’s Sequences widget. Possible values and their meanings are:

    • No actions - take a brake

    • Review Response - a contact replies to one of your Steps, and a Sequence waits for you to process it on the Engagement Planner before proceeding to the next Step

    • Review email Draft - this means a contact is on a Step which requires manual review on the Engagement Planner before sending out your email

    • Make a call - a contact is on a Phone Call type of a Step. Proceed to the Engagement Planner to log a call

    • Send text - a contact is on a SMS type of a Step. Proceed to the Engagement Planner to log a text message

    • Review owner change - this comes up when a contact’s owner changes in Salesforce

    • Fix merge field issue - when you use Merge Field, but that field is blank in Salesforce. You may fix it either by removing Merge Field from your message, or by filling out required field in Salesforce

    • Digest response to a colleague - a sequence gets paused for a contact, whose colleague has already replied to an email within the Sequence. With certain settings in place, this scenario can be controlled

    • Review Invite Response - it appears when a recipient sends you a meeting invite (both from Exchange or Gmail clients), or responses to your meeting invite sent from your email. A notification with the related icon ( if a meeting invite has been sent to you, if the recipient accepts or rejects a meeting invite which you sent) appears on the Engagement Planner’s Notifications tab, and all sequences a prospect is engaged into get paused for the recipient until resumed manually

    • Perform other action - this is related to Miscellaneous type of a Step

    • Review Notification - means either you received an Auto-reply or a standalone email. Those appear on the Notifications tab on the Engagement Planner

    • Review send error
