To-dos tab of Engagement Planner

Watch quick walkthrough of this tab.

List of To-do items are very important. Here you get:

  1. Review and Submit an email type of a step manually

This happens when you select “Review email before sending” while creating your email type of a Step. Your option are “Send as planned”, “Send now”, “Send me a test email”, “Reschedule”.

  2. Colleague Reply

This happens when you have more than one representative of a same company in a sequence (identified by domain name of recipients email), and one of them replies. There is a control in Setting of a Sequence for you to choose how you want to process replies from colleagues. You may Finish a Sequence for the contact with standard options: “Not Interested”, “In Conversation” or “Opt out”. Alternatively you may Dismiss the fact that a colleague replied and then a Sequence will continue as planned.

  3. Log a Call

When your sequence reaches a phone call type of a step, it appears here in To-dos for you to Log a call per each recipient of the sequence. Use text editor to log a conversation, and radio box to log status off the event. It may be a successful call, voice mail or a recipient didn’t pick up.

  4. Send SMS

When your sequence reaches SMS type of a step, it also appears here in To-dos for you to *Log SMS or to reschedule a step using Pencil icon.

  5. Field Merge Issue

This happens when you merge a field which is not populated in Salesforce. Edit your message and process it manually from the Engagement Planner.

  6. Owner Change

Sometimes owner of a contact or a lead may change in Salesforce. If a record of your recipient changes in Salesforce, then Sequence will be paused for the recipient until you manually decide how to proceed. You may Finish a Sequence for the contact with standard options: “Not Interested”, “In Conversation” or “Opt out”. Alternatively, reschedule the next step for the recipient using Pencil icon, and/or click Continue sequence to proceed with the Sequence as planned.

  7. Error sending

This is very unusual and shouldn’t happen to you. Though if it does happen, contact us at [email protected]
